Audit Manager

Our client is an established professional services firm providing premier audit, tax, and financial advisory solutions. Known for delivering high-standard assurance to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, they are currently expanding their audit practice. To drive engagement success and lead project teams, they are seeking an Audit Manager. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Formulate overall audit strategies and scope engagement plans, adjusting audit methodology to target critical risk areas and operational complexities. 
  • Maintain sharp awareness of industry-specific benchmarks, market shifts, and macroeconomic conditions impacting client operations. 
  • Oversee the end-to-end audit lifecycle to ensure projects are executed efficiency and wrapped up within designated timeframes. 
  • Design efficient team structures, evaluate workloads, and direct optimal resource distribution across active assignments. 
  • Keep projects aligned with financial budgets and strict deliverable schedules while safeguarding technical accuracy. 
  • Cultivate consultative relationships with client executives through regular, transparent communication across all audit phases. 
  • Serve as an influential mentor for junior staff, conducting performance reviews, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating ongoing career development. 

Candidate profile: 

  • 5+ years of progressive professional experience in external auditing within a public accounting firm. 
  • Advanced expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax statutory frameworks. 
  • Higher education degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a relevant quantitative field. 
  • Professional fluency in English (spoken and written) for high-level business correspondence and reporting. 
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and specialized audit execution software. 
  • Excellent executive presence and business communication etiquette. 
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and priority-management abilities. 
  • Natural leadership style grounded in integrity, collaboration, and structured project execution. 

Advantages: 

  • Full or partial completion of professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent local qualification.
