Assistant Audit Manager

Our client is an established professional services firm providing premier audit, tax, and financial advisory solutions. Known for delivering high-standard assurance to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, they are currently expanding their audit practice. To drive engagement success and lead project teams, they are seeking an Assistant Audit Manager. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Map out audit engagement plans and craft tailored assurance strategies that directly target client-specific risks and operational realities. 
  • Maintain deep insight into client sector trends, commercial drivers, and broader macroeconomic shifts that influence risk profiles. 
  • Drive end-to-end engagement timelines to guarantee the punctual completion of external audits. 
  • Establish clear project frameworks, determine resource requirements, and delegate work effectively across team members. 
  • Maintain strict oversight on project scope, deliverables, and budgets to ensure top-tier quality standards. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client executive teams, fostering strong long-term professional relationships. 
  • Act as an operational mentor to junior staff, providing real-time coaching, constructive feedback, and skills training. 

Candidate Profile: 

  • At least 3 years of hands-on external audit experience within a reputable practice or professional services firm. 
  • Advanced command of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local taxation frameworks. 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline. 
  • Strong professional English proficiency (written and spoken) suited for corporate client interactions. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and audit technology tools. 
  • Polished executive presence with outstanding business communication etiquette. 
  • Sharp organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills. 
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, ethical integrity, and a collaborative team-first mindset. 

Advantages: 

  • Active ACCA / CPA qualification or currently pursuing professional certification.
